ANCHORAGE TO A CEMENT BASE
The metal structure is anchored to the base using Fischers with lifting resistance and tearing resistance of 3.100 kg.
The base can be carried out in two different ways:

  • by building a corridor of underground cement for the entire length of covering and 25% more with respect to the truss interaxis;
  • by laying a plinth underground for each individual pitch, measuring at least 30% more in width with respect to the truss interaxis.

We must mention that for each individual structure the dimensions of the cement base undergo variations. It is therefore a good idea that all solutions are approved by our technical office..

METAL STRUCTURE
The structure is realised with support arches made up of two hot galvanised 3" pipes 88.9 x 3.5 mm connected by lattice work in 1and 1/4" pipes and with supporting cross-members that have a diameter of 2" 60.3 x 3 mm.

  • Connection clamps with 4 entirely galvanised holes.
  • Galvanised carriage bolts.
  • Modular truss pitch measuring 3 metres.
  • Snow load resistance: maximum load 120 Kg/mt.
  • Wind resistance: maximum speed 100 Km/h.
Different covering solutions are available on request, e.g. in galvanised sheet steel.

COVERING
The types of coverings that can be realised are:

PVC SHEETS
The covering is realised in Trevira bi-moulded PVC (polyvinyl chloride), 1100 Dtex thread, warp and woof, 11 thread, mesh on cm², weight 650 gr/m² breakage load 250 Kg on cm². Tearing strength 35 Kg, working temperature  –25° + 80° C.
Available in several colours, this material has high abrasion, tearing resistance qualities and good anti-aging qualities.
Available colours: White – Grey – Yellow – Orange – Red – Green – Blue.
The system used for anchorage of the sheet to the metal structure is realised using slotted and thermowelded reinforcements on the sides of the covering, while for fixing to the heads an elastic rope is used that gives the sheet a constant tension.
Small attachment belts are thermowelded to the internal part of the sheet for good hold against the wind. These allow the perfect blocking of the covering onto the metal structure.
Any closing heads (front/rear) are also realised in bi-moulded PVC and are equipped with a relevant tubular attachment structure, which varies according to the closing system used (with sliding sheet door or with sheets fixed up to the ground).

CORRUGATED GALVANISED PRE-PAINTED SHEET STEEL
The covering is realised with corrugated pre-painted “SAND 35/1.000” type trussing with a thickness of 6/10.
The “SAND“ corrugated sheet steel also confers an extraordinary solidity to the structure, so much so that their use is particularly recommended in places hit by the wind.
Another fundamental feature of the sheet steel coverings is the high resistance to atmospheric agents: the same sheet steel, which already in the natural state undergoes various treatments, with further pre-painting operations becomes unalterable through the years.
Available colours:  White - White/grey - Dark red - Green.
The sheet steel covering is fixed to the structure using galvanised screws. Fixing hooks block the battens or cross-members in a way to make everything more compact, as a unique body.

COVERING IN INSULATED METAL PANELS
The use of the insulated metal panel is increasingly more common as of today as it represents the latest generation regarding isolating coverings in modern structures.
The panels are essentially made up of two metal supports inside and outside of the covering, which form the walls, in the middle of which a mass of polyurethane resin, with high heat resistance, is sprayed.
The heat insulation first of all depends on the thickness of the panel to be applied (thicknesses from 30 to 60 mm. are available on the market), while resistance to atmospheric agents is very high, as the support sheet steel is galvanised and pre-painted.
Assembly of the insulated panels onto the metal structure is very easy both for flat or curved surfaces: use self-drilling screws equipped with propeller nuts and seals.

RESISTANCE TO STATIC AND AERODYNAMIC LOADS:
RESISTANCE TO THE SNOW LOAD
The “COPRIMAT” structure does not have particular structural risks regarding the snow load; due to its geometrical shape the upper part of the covering tends to unload the weight to the ground (structural calculations can be requested for each type of covering).

RESISTANCE TO THE AERODYNAMIC LOAD OF THE WIND
Also in this case, requests are available for specific structural calculations for each type of covering.
